General Partner

As Founder and General Partner, Chris is responsible for driving the fundamental strategy and philosophy behind the success of Tallgrass Capital.

Chris earned his MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago in 1984 and his BA in Economics and Mathematics from Augustana College in 1982. Chris achieved his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1987.

Prior to founding Tallgrass Capital in 1995, Chris was an analyst with Grant Partners LP, an investment partnership.

Chris was also a member of First National Bank of Chicago Trust Department as well as a member of Commonwealth Edison Pension Fund.
